Bill - August 29, 2012A beautiful day. Temperatures in the 70’s. Blue sky. Very light breeze. Fall colors were brilliant on the drive to and from the Bear Center, but this was mostly a day of meetings about the Northwoods Exhibit Hall. We feel good about what the Northwoods Ecology Hall and Hope Learning Center will be. Donna and I ended the day with a nice walk on the Bear Center Nature Trails.
The picture of Bow’s yearling and the picture of Bill are two we’re considering for the outside of the building. Both have good eyes, good detail, and are simple for easy viewing from the Highway.

However, the article came up on our screen only when we cut and pasted this link into the browser rather than just clicking on it as usual. The article resulted from an Associated Press interview and gives more detail than most.
As we hear more conflicting stories about the supposed bear attack in New Jersey, we’re waiting for official reports with great interest.
