Late summer blooming 'joe pye weed' (Eupatorium maculatum)We spent this rainy, windy day catching up on office work—writing, education outreach, data filing, etc.—so the only information we got on the bears was from GPS locations that came to the computers.
Jewel surprised us with how far the GPS locations showed she traveled. She seems to be making fairly normal movements around her territory. When we can check on her again, we’ll see if her foot is improving or if she is continuing to make do with hopping along on 3 legs.
The jump of $3,225 on the Hope Education Building thermometer was from your purchases to date of the “A Bear Necessity Cookbook” that Lily Fans made for Lily Fans using Lily Fans’ recipes. Thank you!
Thank you for all you do.
