Like Mother, Like Daughter
Lily and Hope have been bedded near a huge white pine for 5 days now. Lily is very familiar with this pine—it’s one her mother June used when Lily was a cub. The pine is on a slope at the edge of a spruce bog and the bed they use is on a level spot just down-slope from the pine. They are in a safe area bedded near the safest kind of climbing tree. We haven’t seen them for a few days but we’ve made firm plans to check up on them tomorrow morning.
We are still waiting for the memory cards to arrive for the pocket video cameras so we can deliver on our promise of video clips of Lily and Hope. I finally downloaded some HD video footage I shot of them on March 31 and attempted to upload a 2 min clip to YouTube. However, the upload has hung twice and I've had to cancel out. I am trying again – but don’t hold your breath.
Lynn is currently out with Gordon Buchanan and the BBC film crew—yup, in the dark.
Some of you have asked for a ringtone of Lynn saying the familiar “It’s me bear, it’s me.” I mentioned it to the professional soundman working with the BBC crew and his response was “I’m on it!” This should be good!
Thank you for your continued support of our work.
