At the WRI new bears are showing up, including a mystery mother and her male yearling that are still a tight pair. The team is working on clues to ID them.Evening grosbeak maleEvening grosbeak male

These two males, an evening grosbeak and indigo bunting, tied as the birds of color the last couple days.

As more bears show up we wait anxiously for certain favorites while trying to ID ones that are a little difficult.

Thank you for all you do,
Lynn Rogers, Biologist, Wildlife Research Institute and North American Bear Center
