Blue jay with peanuts
With temperatures just a little below freezing, blue jays were filling their bills and gular pouches with peanuts and flying far, probably to store them again. Overnight the bobcat was on camera on New Year’s Eve and the non-limping fox was on camera during the wee hours of New Year’s Day. No sightings during the day.
The latest Shadow’s Clan update is on the website at https://www.bearstudy.org/publications/other-papers/3258-shadow-s-clan-family-tree.html. It’s January and that makes me think about mothers giving birth and who we will be seeing with cubs this year. More on that soon.
