Your comments show the wonderful impact Ted had on so many with his gentle, affectionate nature. He showed that bears have feelings and are so different from the ferocious creatures so many believe. I wish he could have lived longer and reached even more people, but the 218 comments on Lily the Black Bear’s Facebook page and the many eloquent emails I saw show how much he meant to so many. There is no way to replace Ted at the Bear Center. The best I can do is put together an exhibit about his life, perhaps using some of the pictures you sent and quoting the descriptive heartfelt words you used.
