Rain, Wind, Snow, and a Live NABC Broadcast - UPDATE April 13, 2022

Doe and fawnDoe and fawnThere was a big live broadcast from the Bear Center 1 hour and 3 minutes long with words from Scott, Spencer, Sharon, Carolyn, Missy, and Amy in that order. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=txFvg-viIzM

From the WRI, it’s all about the weather. The day started with light rain but not enough to deter a Herring Gull from dropping in for bologna. This is a different one than came on March 24.

By 10 AM, the rain was enough to make a juvenile eagle so soggy that it took a 1-hour time out.

In early afternoon, the rain nearly stopped and a mother deer gave her nearly 1-year-old fawn a tongue bath that the fawn seemed to enjoy.

Later in the afternoon came the snow storm that was forecast.
