The Cat is Back! - UPDATE March 10, 2022
BobcatPretty Girl was here at 11:40 PM last night, but we’ll see if she comes tonight after the bobcat spent a couple hours today eyeing squirrels that never went close enough to get caught.
Bobcat from aboveAn hour later, resting by the garage, he held still just long enough for a close-up photo that shows the life in his eyes (click for cropped close-up). I say ‘his’ because all the books say his name is Bobcat. Someday, if we learn different, she can be a Bobbie Cat.
Out the window, redpolls arrived in flocks and would stay to eat if a person stands quietly, but nearly all fly off when blue jays, hairy woodpeckers,
Redpollscrows, or fast-moving red squirrels come too close. Crows arrived on schedule at the beginning of March.
Thank you for all you do,
