BobcatAll was normal. The nice fox has been taking her treats overnight unseen. The deer are coming with their big pleading eyes. The usual birds, including over a hundred redpolls, are flicking in as usual. And then Donna, down in the living room, saw the deer bolt with the bobcat spicing things up just outside the window. She yelled for me, and I hurried down not knowing I needed the camera. The bobcat was walking away up the driveway. I hurried, but by the time I could click the bobcat was over 200 feet away rounding the bend. That was the biggest excitement of the day. I wish Pretty Girl would come and top it, but I suspect I’ll just find her drumstick and mini-muffins gone in the morning, if she dares to come at all where the bobcat has been.
