Pretty Girl was here on the second floor deck the last two nights leaving tracks and taking food from her usual place, but I’ve yet to see her. I believe it is her and that she is hanging out with another fox at a place a half mile away as reported. I feel relieved, but it would make the world right if she would let me see her and have her say “It’s me” by taking food from my hand.
Redpoll maleThe last couple days have been sunny with blue skies making birds look great and making me helplessly click the camera when they begin streaming in about 3 PM. I know you’ve seen similar pictures before, but these common birds are what made me excited enough to pause writing and see what the camera might capture. Fun, but nothing unusual.
Briefly, DNA tests showed that Hank the Tank was not the main perpetrator of food thefts around Lake Tahoe, and Wildlife Officials have given him a reprieve.
I’m looking forward to seeing Pretty Girl.
