Lily Fans have been capturing terrific video of Lucky and Holly exploring the rock den and then two of them playing together.Woodchuck and turtleWoodchuck and turtle

Woodchuck and turtleWoodchuck and turtleThe woodchuck mother has now revealed 5 babies. Another woodchuck we think is the father also lives in the yard. Today, the culprit that turns over painted turtles got caught red-handed. When a turtle passed 7 feet from her burrow, the mother woodchuck emerged, stalked cautiously toward the turtle, then rushed in, savagely bit it, and lifted it. She repeated the biting and lifting until the turtle was helpless on its back and went back to her burrow. Two babies watched from the entrance as the turtle tried to right itself. Finally, it was successful and continued on.

The 44-minute Invisibilia program aired on National Public Radio today. After the interview a few months ago, I became very concerned whether the program would help or hurt bears. Lily Fans would be the best judges. See what you think. http://www.npr.org/2017/06/08/531904266/reality-part-one

Thank you for all you do.
