Lucky and Holly Play It Up - UPDATE April 11, 2017
Lucky and Holly picked this day for their best demonstration of play so far this year. Did they somehow know that they were being filmed for a news broadcast in May in the Twin Cities? Herring gullDid they do that to stir interest in bears and the Bear Center? When we have a link to the broadcast, we’ll post it.
Eastern chipmunkTasha, with Kentucky blood, was very interested in food. It was the same for Ted who has unknown roots. Lucky and Holly, with northwoods blood, weren’t that excited about food yet. Tasha is accustomed to people down close to her now but is constantly on alert for Lucky and Holly. When she heard them coming, she hurried to the cub tree where she climbed to her branch with Holly coming up behind her. It was the same as usual with Holly coming only partway up.
Eastern chipmunkScott is doing everything he can to avoid a repeat of yesterday’s out of sync sound and video.
Out the window, eastern chipmunks are filling their cheeks with sunflower seeds and herring gulls are coming for bologna and beef fat.
Thank you for all you do.
