Honey Laid to Rest - UPDATE April 28, 2016
Honey was laid to rest in a location easily accessible to Lily Fans. The many comments on Facebook and in emails today served as a memorial of sorts. Reading them was a

Out the window the last couple days, the non-tame gull with the dark red spot on its lower bill is training me to put the bologna where it wants it.
One of the strikingly colored “white-striped morph” (as the bird books say it) white-throated sparrows sat where the camera could finally capture the details of its head. A less striking “tan-striped morph” put in an appearance for comparison.
I blame Eli for digging up a chipmunk cache yesterday, but it will now be harder to assign blame because a second male has made an appearance. Pictures to come when they show up in good light.
