Den Cams, Wildlife, Writing - UPDATE November 15, 2015
Blue JayAs Jewel and Lily and her cubs are snug in their dens and we wait for word on the Den Cams, I’m mostly at my desk writing. Out the window, the temperature got up to 49° F, melting most of the snow and making the suet softer to peck into. A male hairy woodpecker alternated with the gray jay to get his share. A downy woodpecker wanted some, too, but the hairy woodpecker was twice his size. Red squirrels glowed in the sun as they competed for sunflower seed hearts left over from the bears. A thank you to Lily Fans who donated for the food.

Thank you for all you do.
