Handsome LuckyTed is content to stay in his pen yet, but Honey, Holly, and Lucky were out making the rounds today. Lily Fans and staff captured the action in videos and pictures.
Heidi summarized what she and Sharon saw when they gave all the bears lettuce and carrots starting at 12:30 PM.
When they visited Honey at her window den, they noticed Holly nearby in the white pine. When Heidi tried to call Holly down, Holly went up and down the tree in a playful manner. When she finally did come down, she was not interested in a carrot, preferring to play in a water bucket until Honey chased her back up the white pine.
Lucky got a slow start. The video shows him slowly retrieving a head of lettuce and backing into his den with it. Eventually he made his way down to the pond area, but apparently he and Holly did not get together. After Lucky left the pond area, Holly reappeared and climbed the white pine again.
We’ll see how long it takes for play to begin. We’ll see what tomorrow brings.
