A Full Day – UPDATE August 13, 2013

Wild sarsaparillaWild sarsaparillaFaith gave Sue a workout trying to get to her through swamps and hills in the poorly accessible area Faith has chosen.  It turned out to be too far, given the time of day.  Sue is forgiven for the failure and cheered for her valiant effort.  She more than made up for it yesterday when she persisted in searching out Aster.

Beaked hazelnutBeaked hazelnutDot proved to be a problem.  We reached her after a very long walk only to find that once her GPS batteries were changed we couldn’t get the unit to turn on.  We’ll try again soon.  Not everything works out perfectly.

Juliet partially made up for the above.  She was easy to get to, was cooperative, and is sending signals after her battery change.  She even stayed with us long enough for a heart rate (79/min).

We saw Bow and her cubs today and were able to determine that both cubs are male.

Thank you for all you do.
