morning frost_-_20111103No research update tonight.  Office day.  Included in today’s work was a compilation of information on 26-year-old Midge who died in November of 2009.  She was necropsied at the UMN Veterinary Diagnostic Lab and found to have died of blastomycosis.  We are writing a paper with the vets there to document this—the first case of blasto found in a wild black bear.

Thank you for all you do!
